School Re-Entry 2020-2021

2020-2021 School Reentry Plan

On July 20, 2020, Fox C-6 released plans to reopen Fox C-6 school buildings for the 2020-2021 school year. Plans were made with input from Fox C-6 staff members, families, and student groups. All plans follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and local health officials.

Plan highlights include:

  • Families will be given an option between attending with the Flexible Learning Plan, where the degree of in-person attendance is based on the current case-count of COVID-19 and the Fox C-6 Virtual Academy, where students will learn virtually with a one-semester commitment.

  • All families will be required to select either the Flexible Learning Plan or Fox C-6 Virtual Academy for each child in their household.

  • All parents and guardians will be asked to perform a daily health certification for their children) before sending them to school. Students showing signs of illness may not attend school.

  • Face coverings

    • Face coverings are required to be worn by all staff members and students especially when social distancing is not feasible.

    • All students will be required to wear a face covering while riding the school bus.
