{JUNE 24, 2020} Arnold, MO – Fox C-6 Superintendent Dr. Nisha Patel was honored by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse - St. Louis area with the 2020 Champion Award. This award is given to one person annually for their uncommon leadership in advocating for substance use prevention education. 

“We need to get ahead of the issues our kids are dealing with,” Fox C-6 Superintendent Dr. Nisha Patel said. “Partnering with NCADA has helped us to provide valuable resources for our students. Preventions really is the best intervention.”

NCADA is a non-profit organization that works “to reduce or prevent the harms of alcohol and other drugs use through education, intervention, and advocacy,” according to their website. The Champion Award is given to one educator each year in appreciation of a strong partnership with NCADA-STL. Click here to watch Dr. Patel's virtual award acceptance.
