Mr. Jim Ray

{February 3, 2021} ARNOLD, MO – During the February 2, 2021 Board of Education meeting, the Fox C-6 Board of Education approved Mr. Jim Ray as the new Principal for Lone Dell Elementary, beginning July 1. Mr. Ray currently serves as the assistant principal at Lone Dell Elementary, where he has been since 2019. Prior to serving at Lone Dell, Mr. Ray was an assistant principal at several Fox C-6 elementary schools for 13 years.  Prior to his experiences as an administrator, Mr. Ray spent six years as a sixth grade teacher at Meramec Heights Elementary

Mr. Ray earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Southeast Missouri State University, a Master of Science in Education from Southwest Baptist University, and most recently, a Master of Educational Administration and Specialist degree from Missouri Baptist University. Mr. Ray has strong roots in the Fox C-6 School district. His four children have attended or are attending Fox C-6 schools and his wife Regina teaches at Seckman Elementary.

As is the case with all of our candidates, Mr. Ray completed a rigorous interview and selection process. We received very positive reviews from the hiring committee, consisting of parents and staff. Mr. Ray also went through a final round interview process with Dr. Patel, Dr. Bracht, and Dr. Gilman. We are all very proud of Mr. Ray and are pleased to announce that the Board of Education approved him for this position.
