Promising Practice Award

{JUNE 10, 2021} Arnold, MO – Antonia Middle School, the Don Earl Early Childhood Center, and Meramec Heights Elementary received Promising Practices awards from for the 2020-2021 school year. Promising Practices awards are given to schools and organizations that develop programs and initiatives that demonstrate effective character development.

Celebrating America: A Virtual Tribute to Our Veteran Heroes - a virtual hero recognition night

“I am incredibly proud of the work of these schools in the area of character development,” Fox C-6 Superintendent Dr. Nisha Patel said. “These schools truly are upholding the Fox C-6 Promise that we will love and care for our students so that they will leave our schools with a Purpose.”

Promising Practices Awards are given to schools and districts throughout the country for the implementation of unique and specific strategies for targeting character education. “Each of these programs and initiatives have demonstrated significant impact and strongly align with the principles that help schools and organizations cultivate a culture of character,” said Dr. Arthur Schwartz, President of 

This is the 16th Promising Practice Award won by Antonia Middle School, the ninth won by Meramec Heights Elementary, and the 10th won by  Don Earl Early Childhood Center.

Additionally, the Don Earl Early Childhood Center was named a National School of Character in 2016 and most recently in 2021.
