Board Presentations


Student Council Presentations


Student Council officers from Fox High School and Seckman High School gave the Board of Education and community an update on their planned activities for the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year. Mandi Wild and Kolton Piva from Fox High School spoke about school improvement projects at Fox High School including mats for the gym and a new water fountain in the library. Presley Clark, Isabelle Smith, Jocelynn Brewer, Brandon Haynes, Brady Taylor, and Anthony Chellew from Seckman High School shared that their Student Council was elected as the vice-president for the Missouri Association of School Councils conference, which will allow Seckman to host other student councils from around the state this coming spring.

Mrs. Lisa Sell, principal of Fox Elementary, along with Fox Elementary  5th grade student Bri Stange and Fox Elementary parent Karla Bryant gave the Board of Education and community an update on Fox Elementary. Click here for the full report.

School Presentation: Antonia Elementary


Mr. Mark Rudanovich, principal of Meramec Heights Elementary, along with Antonia Elementary 5th grade students Tessa Halbert and Gabe Baez, gave the Board of Education an update on Antonia Elementary. Click here for the full report.


College Readiness Assessments


Dr. Tammy Cardona, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools and Declan FitzPatrick, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction provided an overview of the college readiness assessments given to Fox C-6 students and the type of information they provide for our students and our district. Elementary Report Card Update


Dr. Randy Gilman, Assistant Superintendent Elementary, and Declan FitzPatrick, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, provided the Board of Education and the Fox C-6 community with a brief update about the status of the elementary standards-based report card. Their report included information about professional development opportunities for teachers to learn about standards-based grade reporting on two upcoming professional development days. Board Approvals


Professional Development Plan


The Board of Education approved the district’s Professional Development Plan for the 2019-2020 school year. The PD plan is developed based on a needs assessment sent to all staff members and consists of professional development to meet the needs of all staff members. Click here for the full approval.  

Student Assistance Program

The Board of Education approved a contract to provide for counseling services for students and family members of the Fox C-6 community for the 2019-2020 school year. Click here for the full approval. 

Donations to the School District


The Board of Education approved the acceptance of three donations to the Fox School District. Girls golf clubs were donated to Seckman High School, along with various items for homecoming floats, the drama department, and classrooms. Various school supplies were also donated to Lone Dell Elementary. Click here for the full approval. 

Book Approvals


The Board of Education approved the purchase of 7,331 individual copies of novels totaling English Language Arts classes at Fox High School, Seckman High School, and Ridgewood Middle School to ensure that all middle and high school students have access to high-quality and high-interest novels as part of the 6th - 12th grade ELA curriculum. Professional Development Approval


The Board of Education approved a contract with a professional development provider to bring in a speaker for the January 21, 2020, professional development day to speak with all Fox C-6 teachers about best practices in grading and assessment. Click here for the full approval. 


Board Policy Adoption/Revision 


The Board of Education reviewed and voted to adopt two board policy revisions. Click here for more information.
