Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, school meals have been provided free of charge to all Fox C-6 students. These free meals were available through funding by a USDA waiver. This waiver is set to expire at the end of the regular school year - May 27, 2022. This means that free meals will no longer be available to all Fox C-6 students once this school year ends on May 27, 2022.
Families should complete a free and reduced meal application as soon as possible, especially those families attending Fox Summer school. Starting the first day of Summer School, June 2, 2022 breakfast and lunch meals will be charged to students unless they qualify for free and reduced meals. Breakfast is $1.60 and Lunch is $2.95 for K-4 or $3.05 for 5-12 grades.
Families will also need to reapply after July 1 for the 2022-2023 school year. Families can complete and electronic free and reduced meal application through the
Parent Portal either on a computer or through the Tyler Student 360 mobile app.
To access the Free and Reduced Meal application from a desktop or laptop computer, log in to the Parent Portal and click "Free/Reduced Meal Application" under the "School Life" heading. To access the Free and Reduced Meal application from the Student 360 mobile application, tap the three lines in the top right corner of the app, then tap Free/Reduced Meal Application.
